Individual designs on white silk - based on quilt patterns, areas are designed with fineliners, colored with Japanese ink pens. This innovative technique was used in Claudia's award-winning quilts Fern Rising, Fractal and Boteh Symphony. The basic class will cover the basics, preparations, silk behavior, color theory, and basic patterns on a circle. This can later be applied to a background. Let Claudia inspire, motivate and encourage you - lots of ideas, tips and design tricks. Claudia will guide you step by step to learn various motifs, including opulent ornaments, striking leaves and flowers, and much more - expand your design repertoire. Ticket cost includes lunch and course materials ( 7 pencils and silk )and is free of charge. Please bring: Sketchpad, Fineliner 0.5 and 0.8, small ruler, scissors, paper scissors and good mood!
